Microbiology is the study of minute living organisms, which cannot be seen with the naked eye.Micro-organisms (viruses, bacteria, fungi and protozoa) are fascinating creatures that support human life in various ways.It is an exceptionally broad discipline and it prepare the students for careers in medicine, dentistry, nursing, allied health professions,research, teaching, food and pharmaceutical industries.

The department was established on 18th November 2002 with undergraduate course. In 2011 postgraduate course was started.
For the last 12 years our department produces 100% results every year and our fabulous students earned University ranks and marked the top position of our college among the other educational institutions in the University.
